Canvas for Grammy

This is a canvas wall hanging I created in memory of my Grammy who passed away this past January.  I created it for my mom.  I really like the way the project turned out...I used flocked (velvet) paper and added dimension with covered mini canvases as well as ribbon, buttons, beading, and a hat pin.  My mom now just needs to add some photos of her mom (my grammy) and hang it on the wall.

This is the scrapbook page I created for the Scrap That Poetry Contest.  I used the poem "If" and photos from some of my backpacking trips in the Grand Canyon to express a way to LIVE life.
