Mom's Retirement Card

This is a card I made for my mom's retirement in May.  I used Tim Holtz's Tattered Flowers alterations die to create the flowers and added distress ink, diamond dust, and pearls in the flower centers.  These were so fun to make! I positioned the acetate clock face for 5:00 since that time now has a new meaning for my mom.

A France Journal Scrapbook

This is a scrapbook/journal book I created for my sister for her birthday.  We plan to visit France in the next year or two and I wanted her to have a place to put her thoughts, memorabilia, and photos.  It has a lot of cool tags and pockets and flipouts to add memories. Some of the paper is flocked (velvet) and I used ribbons, lace, embossing, and even a door knob in which to open the book.  This was a blast to create...I hope she likes it.
